Although pain can definitely stem from tissue damage, many studies have shown a high correlation with issues like back pain, depression and anxiety.
Humans are holistic, and your pain may not always be due to physical issues.
When I become stressed or anxious, I have noticed my right hip starts to hurt.
This is why when a client comes to me in pain, I don’t just try to identify the physical issue.
Next time you feel a niggle, check in on your stress levels. Injury might not always be the cause of your pain.
